The biggest event in North Norfolk, we have a two day crowd in the 40,000 to 50,000 bracket - given good weather. The Country Fair is widely regarded throughout East Anglia, has the support of the Eastern Daily Press, and is eagerly awaited both locally and by the thousands of holiday makers who flock to the coastal villages - amusingly known by some as "Chelsea on Sea".

With a backdrop of one of the finest examples of English Palladian architecture, Holkham Hall, the Country Fair has a magnificent setting and is always a good fun event.

Normally, all Traders applying for the first time are asked to write to the Country Fair Office with full details of their business, enclosing as much information as possible, including literature, catalogues, leaflets, details of their website, other shows attended, trading history etc. Ideally we also like to see a photograph of your stand at a previous show. You can do this by email too. The addresses are shown below.

We are keen to maintain a high standard, a broad variety of stands, and not to have too many of any one business sector. (We find, for example, that we are oversubscribed with applications from the jewellery and garden furniture sectors, amongst others).

 

CRAFT EXHIBITORS. There are two main generalist marquees for craft exhibitors: the Rural Crafts Association (see their website, or telephone them on 01428 682292) and Heart of England (see their website, or telephone them on 01905 21702).

Please note that the sale of food or drink for consumption on the showground is not allowed.
