“CJ’s Birds of Prey”

The unique Daughter and Father combination that spearheads “CJ’s Birds of Prey” has proved to be a winning formula that has developed over recent years to become one of the most popular “Birds of Prey” display teams in the UK.

The lead is taken by Charlotte Hill who, with her bubbling enthusiasm and vivacious personality, is the driving force behind this team.

In the years prior to the formation of “CJ’s Birds of Prey” Charlotte gained her experience in the art of falconry whilst working in various countries around the world with many of the leading authorities in this field. She has always taken great pleasure in mixing with and learning from falconers from all corners of the world. This is evident to the audiences and spectators who watch with awe and amazement at the spectacular free flying displays of their birds. These include a variety of Falcons, Hawks and Owls as well as the magnificent Martial Eagle and Steppe Eagle.

Charlotte prides herself on always giving informative and educational commentaries from her vast experience, yet manages to retain a light hearted and often humorous approach to the antics of her birds, who may not always work to their scripts. Her father John ably assists Charlotte. He sits on the Hawk Board, and is an active member of the Campaign for Falconry.

Together, since 2003 when the Display Team was first formed, CJ’s have regularly given professional displays and demonstrations at numerous outside events around the UK. These have included Regional and County Shows, Game and Country Fairs at venues such as the South Suffolk and the East of England Shows, Holkham and Chatsworth Country Fairs, Blenheim Palace, Belvoir Castle and Sandringham, to name just a few. Many educational demonstrations have also been given to a variety of Organizations, Schools and Businesses.
